Abstract

A Tablet PC was used for the past year during peer review sessions in software engineering courses (graduate and undergraduate). Our objective was to find out whether simply using this technology could increase participation and facilitate revision. Two specialized presentation software applications were used: Smart Notebook and Classroom Presenter. Overall, the use of this technology increased participation and improved the quality of students’ notes. Digital ink would appear to itself to the creation of longer notes, which simplify the revision process. Presentation software also facilitates interaction by offering better access to each commented solution, which can then be recorded in a more permanent manner.
