This teaching note describes the way the French Limoges Superior School of Teaching Practice adapted their way of evaluating the future teachers of English to the uncommon COVID-19 pandemic situation a few weeks ago. The faculty implemented a whole system of online oral assessments replacing the classroom certification and thus avoided the lockdown drawbacks. It represented a challenge in terms of timing, organization and capability.
